Last night, I managed to score these three books by three great authors for SUCH a discount! I'm still having trouble believing it. =X
The two classics, Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre, are on offer at Popular bookstore alongside other classics like Charles Dickens' (ah how I clearly remember studying A Christmas Carol in year 8..), and Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Classics are the best. And they are on offer at the price of RM14.90 for two books, with an additional 20% off if you buy it with another purchase above RM10.
The third book I got is Diana Wynne Jones's House of Many Ways. It's a sequel to Howl's Moving Castle, which I already have, so it goes without saying that I just have to have this one. And guess what? It's a hardback. And guess the price. It's RM14.90. I had serious trouble believing that price tag that I checked every single copy of the book on the rack. Even when the cashier punched it in, I was still having trouble believing it. LOL. Normally the softback copy of this book goes on sale for about RM20++. I just checked and my Howl's copy is RM22.90. What a bargain.
So by the end of last night, after discounts upon discounts, I was the owner of 3 new books for the mere price of RM25.35. *cue jaw-drop* Ah, how I love this world.
OK.
Maybe all this book talk ain't your cup of tea or whatever.
Even I think I should be a promoter for the said bookstore for all this promos I'm typing about.
But what the heck.
Some people like to brag about buying things at the most expensive prices. I like to brag about buying things with higher quality at the lowest possible prices.
Yep. I'm clever that way.
Pfft. Am I making you puke yet?
pre-end note:
I want Merlin's Conspiracy!!!!!!!!!
